Business Manager Opportunity At Guardian Angels Parish ClawsonGuardian Angels Parish Clawson is looking for a Business Manager to replace their current Business Manager who is retiring in early 2027. Responsible for the planning and management of the financial, administrative, and maintenance operations of the parish, in coordination with the Pastor, Parish Department Heads, and Parish Finance Council. Financial advisor to the Pastor, Parish Leadership Team, Parish Finance Council and Parish Organizations.Responsibilities:Understand and ensure compliance with Archdiocese of Detroit financial policies and procedures, applicable tax regulations and labor laws.Perform and/or supervise day-to-day financial tasks.Manage and direct staff members performing Financial, Administrative, and Maintenance activities.Manage Plant & Property.Manage Human Resource functions/activities.Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accounts.Coordinate preparation of realistic parish / school budget.Manage budgetPrepare quarterly and annual financial reports for parish / school.Manage school tuition management system.Support AOD Food Services operations in school.Prepare/review monthly, quarterly, and annual government reportsOversee parish fundraising activitiesOversee Information Technology SystemsRequired Skills:Accounting degree or Business Administration degree with accounting concentration5+ years of management experience5+ years of accounting experienceBudgeting and financial reporting experienceStrong interpersonal skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience in payroll, Human Resources and Facilities MaintenanceTo apply: Interested candidates should submit a resume and letter of introduction.
